One beautiful day in March 2020 at the beginning of our relationship, we decided to spend together 2 weeks. Then fate would have it that the first time we didn't see each other for more than 2 hours was sometime in August...
At that time, we spent our first holidays together in the cottage without walls. But we were happy that we have 52are of space, and not 52 square meters. We has with us the first item we bought in common - a chemical toilet.
Bénédicte worked hard in the garden and Bartek worked hard to improve our living space.
One day we decided to go to Jamna by bicycle from Bobowa. The plan was good, the weather beautiful until the moment Bartek got a brilliant idea:
“We are only 3 km away from Jamna, we still have time before the mass, so let's go see Devil's Rocks.” Of course, we were riding on bicycles. You can see in the picture below how Bénédicte was happy.
When finally Bénédicte saw Jamna, it was not too hard to convince her to organize our wedding there.
Living together, teleworking together, long historical and political discussions, and sometimes fights on these topics helped us better understand each other.
We discovered a lot of common words in french and in polish. We also experimented with cultural differences like sucre en poudre and cukier puder that are opposite things in our languages. The same with the trout from the oven that can be whole fish or just a filet.
Bicycle, train, car, plane, or motorcycle - we love traveling and camping, even in winter.
